Hires are picked up instore. When hiring we require the following
- Current Drivers Licence with current address,
- Copy of credit card front and back (debit card not accepted) for pre-authorisation purposes (All copies destroyed on return). If hirer does not own a valid credit a cash bond can be held and returned.
All detectors are provided with a carry bag and headphones. On request, we can supply a pick and scoop for gold prospecting machines.
All detectors are tested in your presence to ensure correct operation and that all items are available and in good working order.
PRICING:
Garrett AXIOM (recommended for gold prospecting)
- Weekly Hire: $420
- Daily Hire $60
AlgoForce E1500 PLUS (recommended for gold prospecting)
- Weekly Hire: $350
- Daily Hire: $50
Garrett AT Max / Ace APEX (recommended for and relic hunting and lost item recovery)
- Weekly Hire: $280
- Daily Hire: $40
Security Deposits
Current driver’s licence & credit card are required at the time of pickup for identification and security purposes.
If a credit card cannot be provided, a cash bond will be required.
Cash deposits are refunded upon return of the hired detector. The Prospectors Patch will inspect the machine for any damages before the cash deposit is refunded.

- AlgoForce E1500 hire requires credit card details or a $500 refundable cash deposit.
- Garrett AT Max / AT Pro / Ace APEX hire requires credit card details or a $200 refundable cash deposit.
