Red rouge powder is an inexpensive polish powder used for tumbling - this item is for 110 gram lot (1/4 pound). Iron (Ferric) oxide powder - often called jewellers rouge. Now packed in a screw-top plastic jar.
Red rouge is often used with crushed nut shell to polish brass or other yellow metals - can also be used to polish gold (no cutting action, just polish). We suggest around one tablespoon mixed thoroughly with about 450 grams tumbling media. Rouge and tumbling media should be mixed thoroughly before adding the brass.
Red rouge is also worth trying as a good final polish for glass and obsidian.
