Note: Updating your Vortex detector to the latest firmware version is critical in order to ensure proper coil performance and accurate Target ID. Due to its unique connector, a Vortex searchcoil in not compatible with other Garrett detectors, such as the ACE series, AT detectors, or Apex.

With its narrow profile but long length, the AT 6 ” x 11 ” DD Viper searchcoil allows for excellent target separation in trashy areas while still maintaining great detection depth. Its sleek profile allows the Viper to slide into cramped areas between rocks and roots and crop stubble to snipe out coins and treasure. This highly sensitive coil is durably constructed in a completely waterproof housing and comes with a full 3-year warranty from Garrett.
